What materials are your coins made from?

Our coins are typically made from zinc in most cases. They can be made of brass for an additional charge. The additional charge varies by coin design and size.

Zinc

We use zinc because its high strength and attractive finish make it perfect for our custom coins. It’s ideal for coins large or small, and even 3D. We can include great detail. When polished, especially when plated with one of our standard finishes, it creates an elegant appearance suitable for virtually any design.

Brass

Brass coins feature a classic style, as well as a definite weight. That feeling of heft gives coin recipients a sense of value, of something solid and permanent.
